USA Today recently spoke with director Michael Bay at the Victoria’s Secret Show and asked him about the rumor that Megan Fox is going to be killed off in Transformers 3. Bay said he “loves her” and stated:

No, no, no. She gets enough of that already…she’s got a great part in Transformers 3.

Apparently, Fox spoke with Bay after her comments about him and Bay had this to say about it:

She called me (after the Hitler comment) and goes, ‘It’s all bullsh—t, Mike.’ The press, they just like to prey, and stalk, and pounce and find a good little juicy thing. But she’s always wanted to do these crazy comments. That’s just her. She’s great.

Bay announced back in October that pre-production had begun on Transformers 3 with a release date set for 2011. There is no other news on the topic at this time.

As much a Bay fan as I am, I am saddened by this. I don’t want Megan Fox anywhere near Transformers 3 except for the first 5 minutes so her character could be killed off. I think she just drags the series down. But if they giver her little-to-no dialogue (something they forgot to do in Revenge of the Fallen) then I guess she would be pretty to look at.
