I’ll repeat that, Jackass 3D. Yup, it’s happening. According Cinematical Jackass cast member Bam Margera apparently confirmed that filming would begin this January all around the world. This coupled with the fact that Jackass 3D is on Paramount’s 2010 release slate with a date pending it seems like this is no rumor. As for the 3D factor, as Cinematical points out, it should be relatively cheap to produce and is a guaranteed money maker so there is no reason for it not to happen (at least financially). There is no other news to report on the project at this time.

I was never a Jackass fan when it was on TV. I’ll admit that the first film had it moments of interest. But the second one (except for when the rocket malfunctions) pretty much falls flat on its face. I have no interest in a third film, let alone on in 3D. Do I really need to see Knoxville’s or Margera’s or Weeman’s penis in 3D?
