FREE 2012 Screening in Buffalo – Nov 10th

Columbia Pictures and The Film Stage are offering you the chance to win free passes to Roland Emmerich’s upcoming apocalyptic thriller, 2012, starring John Cusack, opening in theaters on Friday, November 13, 2009. Tickets are for a screening of the film on Tuesday, November 10th at 7:30pm at Regal Elmwood.

We have twenty (20) ADMIT TWO passes to give away. Instructions to enter:

(1) You MUST BE a UB STUDENT with a valid buffalo.edu e-mail address.
(2) Comment below using your valid buffalo.edu address (only I can see them) with your favorite apocalyptic film/disaster film.
(3) The first twenty (20) comments with a valid answer will win an ADMIT TWO pass and receive instructions on where to pick them up in the UB Media Study Department.

NOTE: If your UB e-mail is not tied to a Disqus account you may e-mail me (from your UB e-mail) at jpraup@thefilmstage.com with your full name and the account/e-mail in which you commented below.

Synopsis:

Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. 2012 is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.

  • pretty much everyone stayed post 90s. no love for earlier? Mad Max anyone? ... guess its not a really a disaster film.. hmmm apocalyptic yes.

  • children of men is great! - kinda post apocalypse though not really during apocalypse, but still counts i'm sure.
