It's obvious Avatar has zero similarity to Delgo, and only vague resemblances to Pocahontas, Dances with Wolves, and Call Me Joe. Why don't you do some research before you spout out bullshit like it's true. And the actors performances DO come through here, better then ever before. Why do you think directors such as Speilberg and Jackson have converted to using the technology, cause it sucks? Get real.

As for your 3 step synopsis, well it shows how little you actually know about this movie, and that there IS an elaborate history, in fact every little detail has been hammered out. Do us a favor and come December stay home and read Call Me Joe while the rest of the world goes out and has a once in a lifetime cinematic experience.

What about solid actor performance and not blue chars acting like childs or newbish actors? I was expecting great interpretations like Brando's in the Godfather or the final scene of Bladerunner... not JarJar saying irrelevant things like "it's great!" or "yeeeeah".

Sorry but it's horrible to see how JC converted this into a a PC game-style movie. Even I have the impression of playing Crysis with that plastic jungle with blue bees jumping around.

This trailer is OUTSTANDING, but it is only the new beginning of a juggernaut of a marketing campaign designed to bring Avatar into the forefront of the average movie goers mind. Well before December 18, a lot more people will know about, and want to see AVATAR.

Thankfully, it is more like the 16 minute Avatar Day preview where the motion/emotion performance capture was, in fact, captivating. The colorful and detailed plant and animal life on Pandora, including the Na'vi, are hyper-realistic for unless you live in a rain forest (or on another planet) you don't see images like this ever in your lifetime. Spectacular world, fantastic detail, startling & massive action sequences, beautiful music, earthquaking & realistic sound effects, plus an epic, effective and emotional story will = a very entertaining holiday event rather than another dull trip to the movies.

This movie is going to be crazy! The trailer is incredible, so much better than the teaser. It finally gets the story across to the audience with unbelievable CG! Cameron has done it again.

This movie looks stupid sounds extremely cliche. I can't take any of the horrible actors or the Na'vi seriously....Anime furry porn.
