Plot: Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman, is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother… and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself. Talbot’s childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother’s fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate.

The Wolfman is set to hit theater February 10th 2010.

I think this a big an enormeous trailer. I follow every details of this film and i believe theyre will be a wonderful picture. Del Toro and Hopkins are a great performers and Hugo Weaving too. I can't wait for it!
The look of this Wolfman is terrific and perfect ! Rick Baker did a magnificent job.

There were test screening reviews that were mostly positive posted on AICN. I think that interview Del Toro did on Stern where people started claiming he's disowned Wolfman may be misinterpreted, I hope so.
  • I dig the look of this and everyone involved, but I can't shake the feeling that the film itself won't deliver. Heard rumblings it was bleh a few months back, then it got pushed back a few times, and Del Toro has basically disowned it (or at least doesn't talk about it much publicly). Hopefully I'm wrong, but I dunno...

Looks really good, the cinematography especially looks great. My only quibble is with the CG transformations, they look bland. Besides that, I'm sure this will be good.
