‘Law Abiding Citizen’ Trailer

Entertainment Tonight has released the trailer for F. Gary Gray’s latest film Law Abiding Citizen. The film stars Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler. It is “a thriller about a brilliant sociopath who orchestrates a series of high-profile murders that grip the city of Philadelphia – all from inside his jail cell – and the prosecutor assigned to his case who realizes he is the only one who can end the reign of terror.”

Gray hasn’t done a film since 2005′s Be Cool but looks to be back in a big way. This film looks entertaining and fairly well written. It also looks like Butler is going to end the year with a great part. Gray directed two of my favorite “fun” movies (The Negotiator and The Italian Job) and this looks like it might be the next one on the list.

Law Abiding Citizen is hitting theaters October 16th, 2009.

    Anything with Jamie Foxx is immediately suspect.
  • I have faith in Gray. Granted Be Cool and A Man Apart were terrible but The Negotiator and The Italian Job are good. He is a mixed bag. This looks like it could be one of his better films.
  • Every time I say that Jack I am wrong. So I best there is a fun little twist they aren't telling us.

    Meh, looks like a fun B movie. That was a laughable line though and the trailer did give away way too much.
