In a recent interview with BBC to promote Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen star Shia LaBeouf revealed a few interesting facts about some of his current and future projects.

When asked if he will be in a new Indiana Jones film any time soon he responded

“He [Steven Spielberg] said he just cracked the story before I left.”

Shia also stated that he believes Spielberg is the reason a lot of his films do so well. Go figure.

Shia also talked about the upcoming Wall Street sequel. He said that it and Oliver Stone (W.) are different beasts. He said that he felt like he was living in a fantasy land with all the success he has been given.

Downplaying his new film, he said Revenge of The Fallen isn’t trying to be the next “Elephant Man.” He said that they set out to make a fun action film and thanks to Michael Bay (Transformers, The Island) and ILM they succeeded.

I like it when actors and film makers know what kind of a movie they are making before they go in. Of course, no one expects deep philosophical thinking in Transformers but they are expecting to have a fun time at the theater. Also, I am not a hater of the last Indiana Jones film. I don’t think that is was the best Indy film but it was a decent summer adventure film. I would be interested to see what Spielberg and Lucas come up with for Indy 5.

What do you want to see in a new Indiana Jones film?

Crystal Skull wasn't that bad at all. I hate how people decided a week AFTER the release that because "nuke the fridge" was catchy and an easy criticism they would jump on the bandwagon and dislike a fucking adventure movie for being fun and over the top. Does anyone remember when Indy and co. fell out of a plane in Temple of Doom on an uninflated raft and survived? And as for the Alien thing in Crystal Skull, is it that much more ridiculous than a 700 year old knight to call it a terrible film? I think not. I'd love another Indy, and with Shia returning bc he kicked ass.

They need at least 20 years to write the script for Indy 5. Well actually write 10 different scripts and then merge the best parts together into a totally incoherent mess. Then Indy 5 will be able to live up to horribleness that was Crystal Skull.
