I have to say, this is quite a list for this year.  The three films heaviest on my radar are easily Inglourious Basterds, Up, and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.  Unfortunately, being on the other side of the ocean, I’m just going to have to wait (impatiently) for these films to be released on their respective dates.  Luckily, our own Dan Mecca will be going to the festival to update us on it and to bring us reviews.  It’s a festival like this that makes me wish I wasn’t as young as I am, or with less responsibilities where I can go that far for a good time at the movies.  Oh well.  These aren’t THAT far away, are they?  (Answer:  Way too damn far).

What do you make of this list?  Are there any films you’re looking forward to?  Or do none of the selections on here pique your interest?

Looking forward to Face and films from some of the relatively unknowns.
    You're a lucky guy, Dan.
  • I'm so with you. Can't wait for Thirst.

I'm naturally excited for Inglorious Basterds and Up, but what really really excites me looking over the list is seeing Park's Thirst up there, I've really loved all of his films thus far and the new one looks amazing.
